What You’ll Do at Tryouts

  • 15-min check-in & dynamic warm-up
  • Skill evals: ball-handling, finishing package, shooting/station work
  • Athletic testing: speed, agility, game-speed reads
  • Controlled scrimmage & coach feedback
  • Quick parent debrief + next steps

Tryout Fee: $10 per player (covers gym, staff, evaluation).

What to Bring

A: Yes. Coaches evaluate current level + potential; we place players on the right path.

Q: What if I play another sport?
A: Tell us at check-in; we work around seasonal overlaps.

Q: Do you offer payment plans?
A: Yes—just ask at selection/parent meeting.

Q: Can I walk up without registering online?
A: Limited walk-ups accepted; online registration strongly preferred.

Q: Who coaches the teams?
A: Flint’s Finest teams are led by USA Basketball–certified coaches. Several staff members also bring college or professional playing/coaching experience, and all are trained in age-appropriate player development and positive, safe coaching
