FLINT, Mich. — January 24, 2026 — Flint’s Finest Basketball Club (FFBC) is proud to announce that former Davenport University men’s basketball standout James Allen has officially joined the organization as a UA Future Circuit Player Evaluator & Program Consultant.
This addition marks a major step forward for FFBC’s UA Future platform. Allen will help identify and evaluate high-level talent, sharpen development priorities, and elevate program standards across the season. He will work directly with FFBC leadership and coaches to ensure athletes are prepared for the demands of elite competition—on and off the floor.
Allen played at Davenport University during the early 2000s and is best known for his scoring ability and competitive edge. As a senior in 2004–05, he averaged 18.0 points, 4.0 assists, and 3.0 rebounds per game, and recorded a 36-point performance vs. Madonna on Jan. 15, 2005—one of the most notable scoring nights in program history.
“Adding James is a game-changer for what we’re building,” said Dr. Jerome Adams, President of Flint’s Finest Basketball Club. “Our UA Future teams are about high-level competition and exposure. James brings experience, credibility, and an evaluator’s mindset that will raise the standard across everything we do.”
