Applies to tournament and event entry fees paid to Flint’s Finest Events. For merchandise purchased through our online shop, see the shop’s own returns policy.

The short version

Withdraw on or before March 10, 2027 and you get your entry fee back in full. After that date we cannot refund it. If we cancel, you are refunded either way.

Full refund

A team that withdraws in writing on or before March 10, 2027 receives a full refund of its entry fee. Refunds are returned to the original payment method, normally within ten business days.

After the cutoff

Entry fees are not refundable for withdrawals after March 10, 2027, including no-shows. By that point divisions are set, brackets are built, courts and officials are booked, and a late withdrawal affects every other team in the bracket. This applies whether or not the fee has already been paid — a team that registered and withdraws after the cutoff still owes its entry fee.

If the event or your division does not run

If Flint’s Finest cancels the tournament, or your division does not run because too few teams entered it, your entry fee is refunded in full regardless of the date. If we offer to move your team to another division and you decline, that counts as a full refund situation as well.

Weather and interruptions

If the event begins and is then shortened or stopped — weather, facility closure, or another circumstance outside our control — entry fees are not refunded, because the costs of running the weekend are already committed. We will do what we can to get every team its guaranteed games.

How to withdraw

Email jadams@flintsfinestbasketball.org with your program name, team name, and division. Your withdrawal is effective on the date we receive that email. Please don’t withdraw by phone or social media — we need it in writing so there is a record.
