Why programs make the drive

Built for teams that travel

Three games, guaranteed

Every team plays a minimum of three games across Saturday and Sunday. Nobody drives four hours to play twice and go home.

Two gyms, ten minutes apart

All four courts sit on the same side of Flint — Carman-Ainsworth High School and Middle School. No cross-town scrambles between games, and one hotel corridor off I-69 and US-23.

Fifteen years of running it

Hosted by Flint’s Finest Basketball Club, a 501(c)(3) founded in 2008. Exposure Certified, with brackets, schedules and live scores on the Exposure Events app all weekend.

Entry fees

Bring the whole club, pay less per team

The rate is set by how many teams your program enters — counted across every division, not per division.

1–2 Teams
$300per team
Standard entry for single teams and pairs.
3–4 Teams
$275per team
Save $25 per team Four teams enter for $1,100 instead of $1,200.
5+ Teams
$250per team
Save $50 per team Five teams enter for $1,250 — $250 less than the same five at the single-team rate, and the discount holds for every team after that.

You don’t pay at registration. Hold your spot now and settle the entry fee before the event — payment is optional when you submit the form.

The promise

Before you register

Coaches ask us this

When does registration close?
April 7, 2027 — or sooner if the 100-team field fills first. Divisions close individually as they reach capacity, so early entries hold their spot.
Do we have to pay when we register?
No. Payment is optional at registration — submit your team now and pay before the event. Your multi-team rate is applied based on the total number of teams your program enters.
How do we actually register?
Through Exposure Events, our tournament platform. You’ll pick a division, enter your team and coach information, and you’re in. Roster can be added later. Start your registration here.
Where do we find schedules and scores?
On the Exposure Events app and the event page. Brackets, pool play, schedules and live scores post there through the weekend.
Who do we talk to?
Jerome Adams, tournament director — 810-447-0440 or jadams@flintsfinestbasketball.org.

Registration is open

The 15th Annual Hoops Classic takes 100 teams and closes April 7, 2027. Divisions fill unevenly — the 14U and 17U brackets go first most years.

Not ready to commit?

Bracket releases, division openings and the schedule drop. No more than a handful of emails between now and April.

You’re on the list. We’ll email you when brackets and the schedule post — and before any division closes.
