Applies to the 15th Annual Flint’s Finest Hoops Classic, April 10–11, 2027, and to other Flint’s Finest Events tournaments unless stated otherwise.
Entry fees
Entry is priced per team and set by the total number of teams your program enters across all divisions: $300 per team for one or two teams, $275 per team for three or four, and $250 per team for five or more. Registering a team holds your spot; payment is not required at the moment you register, but the entry fee must be paid in full before your team plays.
Withdrawals and refunds
Full refund for teams that withdraw on or before March 10, 2027. No refunds after that date, because divisions, brackets, and court time are committed at that point. If Flint’s Finest cancels the event, or your division does not run for lack of entries, your entry fee is refunded in full.
Withdrawals must be sent in writing to jadams@flintsfinestbasketball.org.
Registration and eligibility
- Divisions are grade-based with an age equivalent. Teams enter the division matching the grade of their oldest rostered player.
- Registration closes April 7, 2027, or earlier once the 100-team field is full. Individual divisions close as they reach capacity.
- We may ask for proof of grade or age. A team found to be playing outside its division may be moved or removed without refund.
- If a division does not fill, we will contact the coach before moving a team to another division. Teams are not moved without notice.
Format and schedule
Every team is guaranteed a minimum of three games. Schedules, brackets, game times, court assignments, and venues are published through Exposure Events and may change up to and during the event. Weather, facility availability, and the final number of entries can all affect the schedule.
Conduct
Coaches are responsible for the conduct of their players, staff, and spectators. Abuse of officials, tournament staff, facility staff, or other participants may result in ejection from a game or removal from the tournament without refund. Our host facilities are schools; tobacco, alcohol, and drugs are prohibited on their property.
Risk and responsibility
Basketball carries a risk of injury. By entering a team, the program and its participants accept that risk. Flint’s Finest Basketball Club, Inc., Flint’s Finest Events, and the host facilities are not responsible for injuries sustained during the event or for personal property that is lost, damaged, or stolen. Each participating program is responsible for carrying its own insurance and for ensuring its players are medically cleared to play.
Photography and media
The event is photographed and filmed. By participating or attending, you agree that images and footage may be used by Flint’s Finest in its publications, website, and social media. See our Privacy Policy for how to request removal.
